Temperatures in Romania will go up to 12 degrees Celsius in the next couple of days, according to the Romanian Meteorological Administration (ANM). Thus, today (January 3) it will be warmer than expected for this time of year, with maximum temperatures between 5 and 12 degrees. Rain is expected only in the Maramures and North-Crisana areas, while in Transilvania it will be foggy. In Bucharest, the maximum temperature will stay around 10 degrees, while the minimum will be around minus 2 degrees.

Wednesday (January 4) the weather will stay hot for this time of the year, especially in the south. The maximum temperatures will range between 4 and 12 degrees, while the minimum will be around minus 3 degrees. Rain is expected during the day in the west and north.

In January, the average temperatures will exceed 5 degrees Celsius. The average historic temperatures for this month revolve around minus 1.7 degrees Celsius.
