Finance Minister appoints head of Raiffeisen Treasury to run state Treasury
Romania's new Finance Minister Bogdan Dragoi appointed Raiffeisen Bank head of treasury, Cristian Sporis, 36 (in picture), as state secretary responsible for the management of public debt, according to Romanian media. In his new job, Sporis will run the state treasury, previously the responsibility of the current Finance Minister, before being named head of the country's finances.
Sporis has been working with Raiffeisen Bank since 2001. He became the bank's executive treasury director in 2003 and was promoted to treasury and arbitrage in 2005.
