Romania’s economic growth is sustainable, considering that investments grew by over 7.5% last year whereas the final consumption increased by only 5.2%, said the Finance Minister Anca Dragu.

However, public investments remain insufficient and inefficient, the Minister added.

The exports’ structure improved due to the exports of high and medium technology. Romania needs to continue the structural reforms in order to keep these positive developments.

The country also needs a sustainable GDP growth, Dragu added.
