First edition of “Romania's got talent”, over 2 million viewers; rare countertenor voice discovered

The first edition of the TV show “Romania's Got Talent”, inspired by the international show Got Talent, was broadcasted by Romanian TV station Pro TV last Friday and managed to get an average audience of 2 million people. The show thus became the most watched entertainment show since 2004 in Romania.

The audience peak reached 23 percent, or 2.7 million viewers, according to Romanian media. The TV station managed to get a market share of 35 percent during this show.

This first edition of the show presented the selection of candidates. One of the revelations of the evening was a 15-year old boy, Narcis Iustin Ianau, who has a rare, countertenor voice.
