The first Marks & Spencer Food shop in Romania opens today, May 7, in the Plaza Romania mall in Bucharest.

The new store will cover over 1,600 sqm. It will sell sweets, tea, wines, pasta and sauces, in addition to collections of apparel and accessories.

M&S will also open this month another store with clothes and food in the Mega Mall shopping center in eastern Bucharest, on some 1,650 sqm.

The retailer will also expand and modernize one of its existing M&S stores in Bucharest.

When these projects completed, the company’s total retail area in Romania will increase by about a third.
