First open air Sonochrom Festival to be held in Romania’s Stirbey domain this June
The first edition of the open air Sonochrom Festival will be held at Stirbey domain in Buftea, Romania, on June 22 and June 23, 2012. The first artists confirmed to play at the electronic music festival are Monika Kruse and Tiefschwarz.
Besides music, the event also includes several activities, such as the Wheel Of Fortune, Wishing Tree, Action area, Create Your Own Mix-Music, Day Dream Area, as well as other games and competitions, pillow fights, and climbing walls.
Born in Berlin, Monika Kruse started her career as a DJ in 1991 in Munich, while in 1993 she became a member of the Ultraworld Crew. Funk, Hip Hop and House influenced her early DJ sets. Read more about her here.
Tiefschwarz (in picture) are an electro house duo comprising brothers Ali and Basti Schwartz, formed in Stuttgart in 1996. DJs and producers with 14 years on the electronic music scene, they had residencies at several clubs, such as Robert Johnson (Frankfurt), Fabric (London) and Watergate and Weekend (Berlin), as well as regular sets at world-class clubs like Space & Cocoon Ibiza, Womb (Tokyo) and D-Edge (Sao Paolo) during their frequent world tours.
