Five streets in Bucharest might be revamped with EUR 5.8 mln

The Bucharest Streets Administration might pay EUR 5.8 million to revamp five streets in the capital city, with a total length of 2.3 kilometers. The project is on the agenda of the Bucharest City Council’s Tuesday meeting, reports local news agency Mediafax.

The rehabilitation of Ion Ghica street located in Bucharest’s District 3 will cost some EUR 1.35 million including VAT. The street has a length of around 222 meters and will be revamped within a period of seven months.

For revamping the Drumul Săbăreni street in District 6, the Streets Administration would pay around EUR 3.28 million including VAT and work should be completed in one year. This street has a length of over 1,600 meters.

Another street in District 3, namely Mavrogheni street, which has a length of 125.9 meters, should be rehabilitated with EUR 537,000 in a period of four months.

Over EUR 387,000, including VAT, would be paid for revamping Bilciuresti street in Bucharest’s District 1, and another EUR 228,000 would be invested in the rehabilitation of District 5’s Floare de Varf street.
