Romanian electro-IT retailer Flanco announced that it increased the value of the voucher offered under its own home appliance replacement scheme from RON 200 (EUR 40) to RON 300 (EUR 60), Economica.net reported.

In 2022, the value of the vouchers offered by the retailer to its customers for the purchase of large appliances or televisions exceeded RON 15 mln (EUR 3 mln).

“So far, we do not have information on the continuity of the government’s similar scrappage scheme for home appliances supported through the environment fund agency AFM, which we joined each time in the past," said Ovidiu Nicușan, marketing director of Flanco Retail.
