If you're planing to get to Salonic, you might want to delay your trip as the social protests in Greece have triggered flights and train ride cancellations. All international flights to and from Salonic have been blocked for the day.

UPDATE: Two Tarom flights from  Bucharest to Athens and Bucharest to Salonic and return have been canceled, as well as one operated by Olympic Airlines. The railway operator CFR Cataltori has announced two international trains have been affected by the strike in Greece: The 463 Rapid train from Bucharest North to Thessaloniki and the 462 Rapid train which returns on the same route. These trains will only reach Sophia and Kulata.
