European bus operator FlixBus opens office in Bucharest
FlixBus, the largest provider of long-distance bus travels in Europe, has opened an office in the Romanian capital.
The company announced in the summer two new local collaborations and, after integrating services with Eurolines Romania, it now offers 100 direct connections to 12 European countries.
"In 2016, over 30 million passengers have chosen FlixBus across Europe. Due to the substantial growth last year from Central and Eastern Europe, we decided to open an office in Bucharest. FlixBus already cooperates with experienced partners in Romania and our plan is to continuously increase our local presence,” said László Arany, regional managing director.
FlixBus has over 250 partners in Europe and Romania. Founded and launched in Germany, the company offers the largest interurban bus network in Europe, with 200,000 daily trips to 1,200 destinations in 26 countries.
