Food, music and traditional dance from 20 countries, showcased at Global Village event

Students within the Grow project of the International Student Association AIESEC in Bucharest will this year organize the Global Village event, which will be held on Sunday, April 17 at the Mogosoaia Palace near Bucharest, between 12,00 and 17,00 hours.

Food, music and traditional dance performances from Chile, Nigeria, Japan, Germany, Bulgaria, Taiwan, Brazil, Netherlands, Cambodia and also Romania will be showcased during the event. The slogan of this year’s edition is “Dance. Discover. Sing. Taste”.

“This year we'll have something special, with several countries' representatives and also more visitors and more international students, as trainers come from around the country to induce the idea of ​​interculturalism”, said Michal Zabkowski, trainer for the GROW program.

In 2009, the Global Village event had over 5,000 participants. The event's slogan was “How many countries can you visit in one day?”
