Oana Petrescu, the former executive vice-president of BCR, who stepped down from the five-year position and from the BCR board earlier this year, has joined consultancy firm Deloitte Romania as Coordinating Partner of the consultancy practice and as Financial Services Industry Leader.

Oana Petrescu's 20-year career includes heading the operations and IT division within BCR from 2006 to 2010 and as executive vice-president on retail since 2010.

Deloitte currently has 14 partners in Romania, serving clients in different industries, with audit and services, fiscal and judicial consultancy, financial and management consultancy. The company started working in Romania in 1992, with its first office in Bucharest.
