Developer Forte Partners buys land in downtown Bucharest
Local real estate developer Forte Partners has acquired a 1,700 sqm piece of land in downtown Bucharest, near the Telephone Palace building, on Calea Victoriei.
The plot previously belonged to telecom operator Telekom Romania. The company wants to develop an office building there. The land’s features allow building up to 9,000 sqm worth of office space.
The developer ponders buying other plots in the area.
“We believe in developments in central and ultracentral areas,” Forte Partners founder Geo Margescu said. The center of Bucharest doesn’t have a significant offer of class A offices, he added.
Forte Partners is currently developing The Bridge office building in the Orhideea area, its biggest project so far. The company has also developed smaller office projects in Bucharest.
