Founder of Romanian Emag.ro invests in ad and film production company
Radu Apostolescu, one of the founders of Emag.ro online retailer, has invested in advertising and film company Abis Studio Bucharest, where he has a stake of 45%. The value of the transaction by which Apostolescu bought into the firm is confidential, reports local Mediafax.
The financing will support the company’s development over the next period by equipment acquisition and staff growth, aiming to diversify the offered services.
Abis Studio was established in 1996 by Gabriel Antal and Adriana Ionica. After the recent deal, the company’s shareholders are Radu Apostolescu – 45%, Gabriel Antal – 40% and Adriana Ionica – 15%.
