The fourth edition of TEDxBucharest is expecting over 1,000 participants from fields such as PR, marketing, design, IT, architecture and law, which will take place on November 16 at the Parliament Palace, Alexandru Ioan Cuza Hall. The figure should increase in the run up to event.

For this year the organizers are preparing over 20 presentations in areas such as medicine, architecture, business, governance, communication, sports journalism, delivered by specialists in the field, from Romania and abroad.

Also Paul Dicu, ultra-marathoner and Discovery hero will talk about endurance, will and strength to overcome any obstacle. Andrei Pogonaru will reveal a new model of political governance. Florin Paun, director of innovation at ONERA will talk about entrepreneurship, innovation and value of knowledge sharing.

TEDx is a platform for local events, organized independently, as people gather to share experience.  TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to ideas worth sharing. It started 25 years ago as a four-day conference held in California and has become today a global conference event that invites people to present ideas in 18 minutes. Their speeches can then be accessed free on TED.com
