Francois Saint-Paul to be the new French ambassador to Romania
Foreign Minister Titus Corlăţean received on Wednesday, 7 May, the Ambassador agréé of the French Republic to Romania, François Saint-Paul, to present copies of his credentials, according to a statement from the Romanian Foreign Ministry.
Saint-Paul (53) was France’s ambassador to Croatia between 2004 and 2009, after which he served as director of the French abroad and of the consular administration department inside the French Foreign and European Affairs Ministry.
He will replace Phillipe Gustin who has served as French ambassador in Romania since early 2012.
