Fraud Squad closes down three more clubs in Bucharest
Three more Bucharest club were closed down by the Financial Police for not using cash registers. Gendarmes and prosecutors searched the clubs El Grande Comandante, M'Ora and a third club on Wednesday night and the early ours of Thursday and found that none were using cash registers.
The clubs were closed down for three months, and were also fined and some RON 35,000 was confiscated. The Fraud Squad did not mention the names of the clubs, but two of them were El Grande Comandante, M'Ora, according to Mediafax.
Two other clubs were closed down earlier this month. Bamboo and Barletto were also closed down for three months, while the Fraud Squad also imposed fines of RON 32,000 (just over EUR 7,000 ) and seized RON 50,000 (some EUR 11,000 ) following the investigations. However, the owners of the club Barletto appealed the measure and the club will stay open until the trial is complete.
