French author Pascal Bruckner to meet readers in Romania this week

The well-known French author Pascal Bruckner will meet readers in Romania on Wednesday, July 27, starting 18.00 hours, at the Cartureşti Verona bookstore (13-15, Arthur Verona St.) in Bucharest, where he will launch his most recent volume, "The paradox of love".

Pascal Bruckner’s book describes the paradox variations in love’s journey between eroticism and marriage. "The paradox of love" is a provocative volume of essays about love.

Bruckner began writing in the vein of the so-called "nouveaux philosophes" and counts among their best known French proponents. He published “Parias”, “Lunes de Fiel” (adapted to film by Roman Polanski), and “Les voleurs de beauté” (The beauty stealers).
