French retailer Cora to open hypermarket in Constanta's City Park

French retailer Cora has rented out 7,700 sqm space in City Park Mall shopping center in Constanta, South - East of Romania, with plans to open a hypermarket there in the next two months, according to Colliers International, which brokered the lease transaction.

The French group is currently present in Romania with six hypermarkets: Cora Pantelimon, Cora Lujerului, Cora Sun Plaza in Bucharest and Cora Cluj-Napoca, Cora Gold Plaza Baia Mare and Drobeta Turnu Severin in the country.

City Park Mall opened in 2008 and lays over 30,000 sqm. The mall is considering expansion in the next two years due to increased demand coming from international retailers that expressed interest in opening units in the shopping center.
