Funding of EUR 40 mln to be granted for doctors’ training in Romania

Universities, companies and foundations with a medical profile will be able to access European funds with a total value of up to EUR 40 million for the training of doctors and nurses, through the Sectoral Operational Programme Human Resources Development, according to a scheme launched under public debate by the Ministry of European Funds.

According to the draft guide, the projects to be funded will be implemented in at least two development regions in Romania, reports local Hotnews.ro.

The total eligible value of the approved projects will be of minimum EUR 500,000 and maximum EUR 5 million, RON equivalent. Another condition is for the project to be implemented between six and 16 months.
