Garanti Bank plans to reach 100 outlets in Romania, which should be enough for the bank to increase the coverage of the bankable population in Romania, according to its representatives. The bank also plans become profitable in Romania this year, while growing its portfolio of loans by 30 percent and the volume of assets by 20 percent. Its target is to reach the top ten banks in Romania in the coming future.

Garanti Bank had EUR 1.4 billion of assets at the end of 2010, up over 70 percent on 2009. The bank had EUR 786 million of loans, a growth of 45 percent on 2009. Garanti Bank runs 74 units in Romania and added 25 outlets in 2010.
