Garbage, Caro Emerald, and Selah Sue playing at Bucharest B’estfest this summer
This year’s Summer B’estfest will feature Garbage (in picture), Caro Emerald, Selah Sue, The Qemists, Mala Vita, Meshuggah and Obituary. The music festival will be on between July 6 and July 8, 2012, in Tunari, 10 minutes north of Bucharest.
Garbage are one of the most well-known alternative rock bands in the world, while Caro Emerald became internationally known after the release of her debut single 'Back It Up' in 2009.
Selah Sue is a Belgian musician and songwriter. Her debut album released last year sold over 40,000 copies. The Qemists are one of the most spectacular drum and bass bands from UK, consisting of bassist Dan Arnold, drummer Leon Harris and guitarist Liam Black.
Mala Vita are well known for their original sound, rooted in balkanpunk, hiphop, rock, latino, soul and ska. Meshuggah are an extreme Swedish metal band, whose big break came in 1995 with their album ‘Destroy Erase Improve’ which was a mix of death metal, thrash, progressive metal and, surprisingly, jazz fusion.
Florida band Obituary were founded in 1984 under the name Executioner, which was changed to their current name in 1988. The band are considered to be among the pioneers of death metal.
