German company Baywa Aktiengesellschaft to invest in Romania’s agriculture

The German company Baywa Aktiengesellschaft plans to invest in the agriculture system in Romania, said the company’s engineering division director, Mayer Siegfried, during a meeting with the Romanian Agriculture Minister Valeriu Tabara.

“The German company plans to invest in Romania, its representative saying that this country has a high agricultural potential, and this area should be a priority”, according to the Romanian Agriculture Ministry.

Baywa is a group with international operations in agriculture, building materials and energy sectors. The company’s head office is located in Munich, Germany, and was founded in 1923. The revenues of the international trading and services group came to EUR 1.96 billion in the first three months of this year, according to the company.
