German footwear retailer wants to open seven new stores in Romania
German footwear retailer Deichmann sold 2.87 million pair of shoes in Romania last year, up from 2.76 million in 2014.
The company’s turnover in the local market rose by 12% to EUR 73.5 million.
The retailer wants to open seven new stores this year. In 2015, Deichmann opened five stores, reaching a network of 74 locations.
The number of employees rose to 612 in 2015 compared to 551 in the previous year.
