German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier will meet on Monday, March 9, in Sibiu President Klaus Iohannis, Prime Minister Victor Ponta and Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu.

He will receive the title of honorary citizen of Sibiu, according to the German Embassy in Bucharest.

Steinmeier will take part in the events organized by Romania’s German Democratic Forum which celebrates 25 years of existence.

He will also attend the inauguration of a new German investment in Romania.

In February this year, Iohannis made an official visit to Germany.
