German punk band Die Toten Hosen to headline Romanian festival this summer
The first confirmed band that will headline the seventh edition of ARTmania music festival in Romania this year is the German band Die Toten Hosen. The ARTmania 2012 Festival will be held in Sibiu County, from August 6 to 12 2012.
The first bands confirmed for this year's concerts at the ARTmania Festival are Delain and Trail of Tears. The first confirmed headline is Die Toten Hosen, which will perform on Friday, August 10, 2012.
Die Toten Hosen has been active for the last 30 years on the German punk scene, with over 1,000 concerts and millions of albums sold. Among the songs that made them famous are "Pushed Again", "Hier Kommt Alex" or "Zehn Kleine Jägermeister".
Die Toten Hosen, which was founded in 1982 in Germany, recorded their first album in English in 1991, with artists like Joey Ramone of the Ramones or TV Smith of The Adverts.
