German retailer Lidl plans to expand on the site of former brewery in Bragadiru, Romania
German retailer Lidl plans to build a new store on the site of the former brewery in Bragadiru, near Bucharest, which was partially demolished last year, reports local Ziarul Financiar.
“We focus on several cities, including Bragadiru, to which you are referring to,” said Lidl representatives, without however specifying if they take into account the site of the former brewery for a store in Bragadiru.
Lidl runs a network of 170 stores in Romania.
Grivita, another former brewery in Bucharest, will make room for a Kaufland hypermarket and an office building.
