GM of Romania's national railway freight company quits
George Buruiana has resigned from his position as general manager of Romania's state-owned railway freight company CFR Marfa, the company announced, reports local Agerpres.
He had taken over the office in June last year.
The resignation was due to personal reasons, according to company’s representatives.
Until the company appoints an interim general manager, the deputy GM Laurentiu Georgescu will take over Buruiana’s attributions.
CFR Marfa has a 57.3% market share in Romania’s rail freight market. The company wants to have a EUR 675,553 gross profit this year.
