Search engine Google celebrates Romania's National Day through a specially-design logo for the occasion. Google's doodle shows two pairs of dancers wearing traditional Romanian costumes and incorporates the red, yellow and blue of Romania's flag- see above. Last year's doodle dedicated to Romania included three Romanian flags and a map of the country– see below.

The decorative changes made to the Google logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists and scientists are known as Doodles. A team of Google designers now create doodles on a day-to-day basis. The doodle team has created over 300 doodles for Google.com in the United States and over 700 have been designed internationally.
