Google picks Bucharest, three other Eastern European capitals to open its Google House
Bucharest is one of the four Eastern European capitals where Internet giant Google has opened a Google House, to showcase its services, products and technologies.
Located within Maison 13 in Bucharest, but open only to the media and to Google partners and not to the public, the house is similar to the well-known Google headquarters across the world: bright colors, out of the box design, lots of Google products and services. Photos below.
A similar Google House was opened in the Czech Republic, and the ones in Poland and Hungary will be next, Romania-Insider.com has learned. Google has done this elsewhere in the world in the past, in Western European countries like France and UK.
The house in Bucharest, equipped with several devices, such as Nexus 7, Chromecast, Chromebook Pixel, among others, was opened for three days. The last day, Thursday, May 22, is dedicated to meetings with Google partners.
