Google starts hiring for Romanian office
Google, which has recently established an office in Romania, has started recruiting staff for its local office, but the team will only be made of ten people , in a first phase, according to Dan Bulucea (in picture), head of Google Romania, quoted by Business Magazin.
The team will be made of marketing, sales and support specialists. So far, Google's activity in Romania has been coordinated by a ten-people team in Ireland, our of which four Romanians. The Switzerland research and development center dealt with adapting products for the Romanian market, while the Poland office was in charge with the support service.
Dan Bulucea has previously been business and marketing director with Microsoft. Bulucea had worked for the last 12 years with Microsoft in Romania but left the company in spring this year.
The new office in Bucharest will deal with implementing Google’s strategy in the country, establishing business partnerships with local companies, communications and advertising sales.
