Spanish real estate developer Graells & Llonch started work on its second real estate project in Romania, a EUR 200 million park in Turda city, Cluj county. The park will cover 545,000 sqm and will include areas for various production companies, as well as logistics space for distribution and logistics companies. In total, the park will have 70 buildings built over five years. The first building should be finished in November this year.
Most of the financing will be covered by the investors, and partner Europe Capital has pitched in for the land.
Graells & Llonch previously developed a similar park in Prejmer, in Brasov county, with an estimated investment of EUR 350 million. The park covers some 840,000 sqm and is 65 percent leased.
