Greek duo Keep Shelly in Athens prepares for first gig in Bucharest this January

20 January 2012

Greek duo Keep Shelly in Athens will perform for the first time in Romania on January 27 at Control club (19, Academiei St.) in Bucharest, from 22:00.

The  electronic-downtempo duo project founded by producer RΠЯ and singer Sarah P has enjoyed lately a wave of appreciation from the public and music critics. The duo currently has two EPS - ‘In Love With Dusk’ and ‘Our Own Dream’, both praised by 'The guardian' and 'Pitchfork'.

“If St. Etienne are about evoking memories of a London so idyllic it's almost illusory, Keep Shelly do the same for every European beach resort, from Ayia Napa to Ibiza. This is the sound of lack and loss, of what My Bloody Valentine termed "emptiness inside". It'll transform your recent holiday romance into the most resonant bliss imaginable,” writes The Guardian.

Tickets for this gig in Bucharest cost RON 20 and can be purchased on the door.
