Barbara Cygler, 41, will be the new general manager of pharmaceutical company GSK Romania as of April 1,2014. She replaces Pascal Prigent, who was named vice-president Vaccines Commercial Strategy at GSK US Pharmaceuticals, reports local Ziarul Financiar.

Barbara Cygler has an experience of 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry. She joined GSK Romania in 2012 as business unit director for the retail division, later being appointed specialty care business unit director.

Before coming to Romania, Barbara Cygler held several positions in GSK France.

As general manager of GSK Romania, she will be responsible for the growth and development of the company's pharmaceutical division.
