Heating system based on weather forecast, launched in Romania
An Austrian company recently launched in Romania a system that ties heat in the apartment to the temperature outside and to the weather forecast.
Austrian group Ferdinand Krobath, together with Swedish eGain, promise the system will generate a 10 to 15% drop in heating bills.
The equipment’s sensors record temperature and humidity in the apartment every hour, as well as the weather forecast and the exterior temperature. The Austrian company relies on the increasing interest for energy efficiency and for decreasing fixed costs.
