Heineken Romania changes CEO

Heineken Romania, the second-biggest beer producer on the local market, will have a new general manager starting October 1.

Onno Rombouts will leave the company’s helm after six years during which the company recorded five consecutive years with double-digit growth rates. He will be replaced by Dan Robinson, who is currently Director for Europe Export and Global Duty Free at Heineken, local Ziarul Financiar reported.

The Dutch group has four factories in Romania, at Miercurea-Ciuc, Craiova, Constanta and Targu-Mures.

Heineken Romania had a turnover of EUR 254 million and a net profit of EUR 28 million in 2017, according to official data from the Finance Ministry.
