Hezy Ovadia (in picture) is the new president of United Romanian Breweries Bereprod (URBB), replacing Shachar Shaine from January 2011. Shaine has been leading URBB for the last six years. Ovadia has been working in the FMCG sector and has 19 years of experience. He has been working with companies like Carlsberg Group – Israel Beer Breweries.

Ovadia has had connections with Tuborg Romania in the past, being a member of the administration council. He holds an EMBA in Business Management from the University in Tel Aviv.

URBB employs over 800 people and runs a turnover of over EUR 100 million. URBB produces brands like Tuborg, Carlsberg, Skol, Holsten, Guinness and Graninin on the refreshment beverages segment.
