Christmas markets galore in Bucharest this year and the Hilton is joining in with an Austrian/German style seasonal market. A rustic twist is promised with 11 stalls selling decorations, ideas for gifts and everything from wine and cheese to gingerbread and chocolate.

Teutonic treats like Bratwurst and Schmalzkuchen will be on offer, all with fairy lights, a family atmosphere and of course the obligatory mulled wine.

The market is on the Hilton's La Strada Terrace and is open every afternoon and evening between December 3 and December 26.
