The 32,000 sqm Uvertura Mall in the Romanian city of Botosani opened today (March 29 ), with an occupancy rate of 91 percent, and hosting retailers such as H&M, which has a 1,5000 sqm store, a Carrefour hypermarket, Go Sport, Lee Cooper, Kenvelo, Eponge, Jolidon, Sabrini and Beauty Mania, among others.

Some other retailers are schedule to open their shops later on in April, including the Cine Grand cinema and bowling alley Chicago Club. In total, the mall will host around 80 retailers.

The mall required investments of some EUR 27 million by the owner, Romanian investor Danut Prisecariu.

The CineGrand multiplex in Botosani, with five cine halls with 500 seats, three of them with 3D projection capability, will be the operator's first unit in Romania. A second will follow later on this year in the Cocor Shopping Center in Bucharest.
