Holcim Romania appoints Bogdan Dobre as new marketing and sales manager

Bogdan Dobre (in picture), 45, will be Holcim Romania’s new marketing and sales manager as of September 1, 2013, the company has recently announced. He is replacing Bulgarian Rossen Papazov who was promoted Chief Executive Officer of Holcim Azerbaijan.

Bogdan Dobre started his activity with Holcim Romania in 2000, as regional sales manager. Two years later, he took over the coordination of the cement sales team, while since 2011, he has been managing the company’s concrete and Aggregates business segment. Dobre graduated from the Organic Chemistry Faculty at the University of Bucharest and has an EMBA from Tiffin University, USA.

Holcim Romania runs two cement plants in Campulung and Alesd, one grinding station and a cement terminal in Turda, 15 ecological ready-mix stations, three aggregates sites and a cement terminal in Bucharest.
