Holrom Renewable Energy to develop 12 new wind projects in Romania

Holrom Rinewable Energy wants to develop 12 new wind projects in Romania, with a total capacity of 120 MW, and this month expects to complete a wind park in Baia, Tulcea county, with a total value of EUR 21 million, according to Andrei Danga, the company's general manager.

The new park will have an annual production of 59,000 MWh, the consumption needs for 14,000 European medium households. “The CO2 footprint saves the equivalent of 41,000 cubic meters per year, the similar volume of emissions from 8,500 cars", according to the company's representatives.

Since 2005, Holrom invested in Romania in wind energy projects, through Holrom Renewable Energy. The company has expanded its wind park with an additional capacity of 12 MW, with funds from the UniCredit Leasing.
