The hourly labour cost increased by 2.2% in the third quarter compared to the previous one, and by 5.2%, year-on-year, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INS).

The most significant increases were recorded in education (13.07%) because of fewer work hours due to school holidays, public administration (5 77%), other services (3.97%) and mining (3.95%), reads the INS release.

Decreases were recorded only in insurance and financial intermediation (5.73%), real estate (3.08%), transport and storage (1.22%) and trade (0.71%).
