How much time do Romanians need to decide for a house?
Romanians need to watch about eight homes during two to three months before deciding to buy a new house, according to real estate company RE/MAX Europe.
The average at EU level amounts to two months and seven home previews.
“In Romania, things are close to the European average,” said Razvan Cuc, RE/MAX Europe president.
Portugal ranks first among European countries where people take little time to buy a home. About 40% of the people searching for a house there make a decision in about one week.
At the opposite side, 40% of the Austrians and Dutch in search of a property take about six months to decide.
