How often do Romanians change their computers?
Most Romanians wish to change their computers at least every four years, according to a study from Intel. Almost half of them have computers that are up to four-year old.
Over a quarter (26%) of them use the PC over 8 hours a day while 41% stay in front of the computer between 4 and 8 hours a day. Only 5% of the respondents spend less than one year per day on the computer.
The budget allocated for a new PC amounts to RON 1,500-2,500 (EUR 338 - 564) for almost 44% of the respondents. About 23% have less than EUR 338 for a new PC whereas 20% allocate between EUR 564 and EUR 790. Those with budgets of over EUR 790 represent about 13%.
