HP wants to add 600 staff to Bucharest center, lease more office space
Hewlett-Packard plans to hire 600 people this year for its consultancy center in Bucharest, Global eBusiness Operation Centre (GeBOC), which currently has 3,100 employees. “The increase in staff is in line with the organic evolution of the company on a worldwide level, also taking into account HP's new acquisitions,” said Alexander Weigl, the general manager of the center in Bucharest.
The increase in team will trigger HP to occupy all the available office space in three buildings in Nova Park compound and to lease more space in a fourth building. HP opened the Bucharest operations center in 2006, providing processing services to customers in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.
