IAMX and Monarchy to play in Romania this summer
IAMX and Monarchy will come to the Beck’sperience 2011 event that will be held on June 4 at Romexpo in Bucharest. IAMX played before in Romania in 2009 at Fratelli Studios. IAMX is the solo musical project of Chris Corner, formerly of the Sneaker Pimps. Chris Corner currently lives in Berlin where he has found "the spirit to care less about the music industry and take an independent route". With four albums released, IAMX combines electronic with indie music. All albums are performed, produced, mixed and mastered by Chris Corner himself. More about the band.
Monarchy are a British synth-pop duo. Their first live show was broadcast into space from Cape Canaveral, Florida in June 2010, making them the first band ever to perform live into space. They have created remixes for the likes of Kelis, Lady Gaga, Marina and The Diamonds, Jamiroquai and many others. More about the band.
The access to the concert will be free and participants will enter at the event using a nominal invitation which can be downloaded from the website www.becks.ro, starting with May 1, 2011.
