IFC to finance EDP's windmill projects in Romania

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) will offer EUR 115 million in financing for two windmill projects in Romania built by the Portuguese company Energias de Portugal (EDP). The two projects will be built in Pestera and Cernavoda localities in Dorbogea area of Romania. The project has been submitted for IFC's board approval. The IFC financing is just a part of the total needed financing, which should reach EUR 328 million in total. The EUR 115 million financing includes two financing lines, and a third could also be approved.
