IMF mission comes to Bucharest for third review of the Stand-By Agreement
An International Monetary Fund mission, led by Andrea Schaechter, will be in Romania between January 27 and February 10, for the third review of the ongoing Stand-By Arrangement, said yesterday Guillermo Tolosa, the IMF Resident Representative for Romania and Bulgaria.
"The mission will discuss with the Romanian authorities the recent developments in the Romanian economy and the priorities in the economic reforms," Tolosa said, cited by local Agerpres.
IMF representatives will be meeting with representatives of the private sector, political parties, professional associations and NGOs. At the end of the mission, there will be a press conference.
