Immofinanz raises first office building of Metroffice project in Bucharest

25 November 2015

Austrian group Immofinanz, one of the largest investors in the local real estate industry, has completed the structure of the first office building within its Metroffice office project, which it develops in the Dimitrie Pompeiu area, in the north of Bucharest.

The investment in the first building is about EUR 34 million.

It will have a rentable area of 20,000 sqm and it should be finalized and functional in the second quarter of the next year. The project’s general contractor is the Austrian company Porr Construct.

“Metroffice represents only the first step in transforming the area into an innovative district of the city with office spaces, retail, relaxing and residential areas,” said Sorin Visoianu, Immofinanz country manager office & logistics for Romania and Bulgaria.

Metroffice is Immofinanz’ bet of transforming the Iride Business Park, the largest business park in Romania, into Iride City.
