Iñaki Berroeta (in picture) is the new CEO of telecom company Vodafone in Romania, replacing Liliana Solomon from the beginning of December this year, the company has announced. Inaki Berroeta joins Vodafone Romania from the helm of the subsidiary in Malta, where he has been GM for three years.

Liliana Solomon has been promoted Director of Operations, Europe Region and will be headquartered in London. She has been leading the Romanian subsidiary for the last five years. The company doubled its turnover and increased the number of customers by 50 percent during her lead. Solomon holds 15 years of experience in the telecom industry, having previously worked for companies like T-Mobile in UK, Cable & Wireless in UK and Deutsche Telekom.

Iñaki Berroeta holds a Master degree in Telecommunications and he has held various leading posts since he joined in1995 when Vodafone Spain was still Airtel Móvil, S. A. Married with two daughters, Iñaki enjoys running, cycling and repairing his old cars.
